did you ever see a website called http://www.shoppingbill.com. i set it up with friends 3 years ago to help people NOT get ripped off on the supermarket.. if you know anyone who wants to take it over, do let me know. We listed all special offers every week in all supermarkets, plus the most comprehensive price survey going. Much better than Consumer Agency.
What we lacked was an investor, or someone to help publicise the venture.
People say they want to save money, but are reluctant to pay for the information…

@alan: Hi Alan, I did know the site and actually looked into acquiring it, but the auction on eBay was way too much for my budget!
I love the concept but ultimately people are not going to pay for information that is already in the public domain even if it is nicely presented all in one place!
